Free Services

Grafter is totally free for people looking for work.

It is also free for clients to register, post a job, view profiles and chat with Grafters.

Only when a client wants to access a worker's contact details, or offer them a job, do they need to pay. At this point, the client can choose from four different access packages, depending on the amount of access required.

Access Package

There are four different purchase options to use Grafter. These are known as the 'Access Packages':

  1. 'Monthly' - single month use of the service, engage up to 3 people.

  2. 'Basic' - subscription package, engaging up to 5 people a month.

  3. 'Standard' - subscription package, engaging up to 10 people a month.

  4. 'Premium' - subscription package, engaging to 15 people a month.

Access Package Allowances

Each access package has an allowance of 3 elements:

1. Contact Credits - For each package you will have a number of 'Contact Credits'. Each time worker contact details are requested, or an offer is made, one Contact Credit is used.

2. Hires - The number of hired workers you can manage on the platform at one time. If one job closes and the person is no longer hired then the the capacity (number of Hires allowed) can be reused for another worker.

3. Period - The time period that the access package lasts for. In the case of 'Monthly' the package is limited to one month from the purchase date. The subscription packages automatically renew each month until cancelled. With subscription packages, the Contact Credit allocation is refreshed each month.

Running out of Contact Credits before filling a job.

If you have used up all of your Contact Credits you will have to upgrade the subscription. Contact Credits are non-refundable, no matter what the circumstance.

To avoid this situation, we recommend using online 'Chat' to confirm the details of the job and workers' interest, before you exchange details or make an offer.

Services when you hire the worker on Grafter

For the workers hired on the platform (Hires), bit for Monthly and the Subscription packages you have access to the following services:

  1. Online work agreements - documenting agreed work and fees

  2. CIS worker tax checks and calculations (construction industry only)

  3. Option to pay workers securely online by bank transfer for free

  4. Worker invoices are automatically generated and emailed to you

Subscription Packages Services

The subscription packages have a number of benefits that the 'Monthly' package does not include. These are:

  1. Lower fees per engagement and hire - for hiring multiple workers per month

  2. ‘My Grafters’ - your favourite and past grafters for easy re-hiring

  3. 'My Payments' - Invoice and payment history

  4. Access to all your past jobs, workers and invoices

Important Notes

  1. Unused credit and hires are non-refundable.

  2. Contact Credits are no refundable once details have been exchanged even if the job does not go ahead for any reason.

  3. The packages can be amended by Grafter at any time with at least 1-month notice given.

  4. If details of the package change, you will remain subscribed to that package but have the right to unsubscribe or change to a new package.

  5. Subscription packages can be cancelled at any time. The current month is non-refundable. The subscription will just not renew at the next payment due date.
