As part of the service to manage jobs, Grafter offers a facility to book a worker. This helps to make sure you are protected with an online Work Agreement. By accepting the Work Offer, the grafter has agreed to complete the work detailed at the agreed day rate.

This helps to avoid or resolve disagreements about the work or payment, protecting both client and grafter.

When the client 'Offers' the job to a grafter, the platform captures the details of the work. These together with the standard Work Agreement forms a contract for the job between client and grafter.

  • By offering the job to a grafter on the Grafter platform, the client is committing to the details of the job and standard work agreement.

  • By accepting the work on the platform, the grafter acknowledges they also are also committing to the details of the job and standard work agreement.

Also, by using the 'Chat' service on the platform, discussions about the job are recorded so they can also refer back to it.

Documenting the agreement helps protect both clients and grafters in case of conflict about the work, including the payment agreed.

If you don't use the platform to manage your jobs we recommend you put in place another form of work agreement to document the contract and provide protection in case of conflict.
