When will I get my money?

When you get paid depends on what you and the client agreed before starting work, and which payment option was used.

If the client is paying you directly

Payment timing is whatever you agreed β€” same day, weekly, on completion, or another arrangement. If you are not sure what was agreed, check the messages in your Grafter conversation with the client. Grafter is not involved in this payment and cannot tell you when it will arrive.

If you have not been paid when you expected to be, contact the client directly through Grafter messaging to follow up.

If the client is paying through Grafter's platform

The client sets the payment frequency and terms in the job details. To get paid, you need to raise a payment request on the platform β€” go to the job page and click 'Request Payment'. This generates an invoice which is sent to the client. The client then pays within the agreed payment terms shown on the job.
