Why has my client account been suspended or restricted?

If your client account has been restricted or suspended, this article explains the most common reasons and what to do.

The most common reason: attempting to share contact details without purchasing access

Grafter's access model works like this: browsing profiles, posting jobs, and chatting are all free. To view a grafter's contact details, you need to purchase an access package and use a credit.

If our system detects that contact information is being shared through messaging to bypass this step, both accounts may be restricted.

This applies even if it seemed harmless β€” for example, asking a grafter to send you their phone number in a message before you have purchased access is a violation of platform rules.

Other reasons for suspension

β€’ Abusive or threatening behaviour toward grafters

β€’ Leaving deliberately false or malicious reviews

β€’ Attempting to recruit grafters for work without purchasing access

What to do if your account is restricted

Contact support and include your account email address. If this is a first offence related to contact sharing, your account will typically be reviewed and unlocked quickly with a warning.

Repeat violations

Repeated violations will result in longer restrictions or permanent account closure.
