The daily rate is set by the client but must be above the minimum national wage. We ask you to set a daily rate but you can pay for the actual hours worked after the job is complete (day rate divided by 7).

To get as much choice of grafters as possible, you should try to set the highest rate that you can afford for the job. The higher the rate, the more grafters that will respond to the job and the more likely you are to find the right person.

If the rate is too low grafters may decline the work. All grafters are asked the enter their target rate in their profiles as a guide to employers.

You can increase the rate that you are prepared to pay by editing the job details. This may help to attract more grafters if the initial response to the job was poor.

The platform defines a working day as 7-hours (excluding breaks) but you agree the working hours with the grafter directly.
